26/27 weeks *warning* long post

"Us 3"
I would like to frame some of these photos. We went to the beach in Nederland with the family. 25.5 weeks
Wearing all 'normal' clothes. I love the skirt mom sent!
Everything is still going good. I went to the doctor yesterday and everything was fine. It was a new doctor that neither of us really liked. She did not have much personality and did not explain much. Last time the ultrasound was fascinating, because we could see so many details, this time we were lost. It was mainly FUZZ! Only one time could we clearly see an arm and hand. One thing was a little strange. She said I needed to do another urine test, because sometimes there can be an infection without symptoms. While I was in the bathroom, my hubby asked the woman doing the test if this was normal and she said, 'no' and that maybe the doctor saw something? I will know if the lab calls that something is up.

Only ultrasound photo. Nearly 27 weeks. Baby is looking to the right. The baby's room is almost done. Hubby FINALLY sorted through his stuff in there. We threw away a black garbage back of junk and have 3 full banana boxes for the container park. It is nearly ready for our guests and then the baby (and GRANDMA!).

I did my measurements and was happy with them. I am nearly the same everywhere, except my belly of course. I seem to have quite a stomach, but I think the whole extra 6.5 kilos are deposited there.

I was thinking that I am not really having cravings, but the one thing I LOVE is tuna sandwiches. I have always liked them, but I think I have had one every day for the past 2 weeks. A plus is that it takes a few seconds to make one. Pre-sliced bread, pre-made tuna salad, pre-sliced pickles and hopefully fresh sprouts. Yum! I also have had cornflakes with sliced banana and 2 Splendas nearly every day this week.

Baby Room

We got the furniture on Saturday from my SIL. Monday I washed it and arranged it. With the large cupboard and bed already in the room, I put the changing table in the bathroom and figured it is more logical anyways. It is a full bedroom!

I wanted to do turquoise decorations, since the walls are gray, but I do not have very much space for anything else. I am thinking about finding some wall stickers and sewing a bed set to add some color in the room.

Today I bought hangers at Ikea, so hopefully this weekend I can organize inside the cabinets everything I already have...

25 Weeks

Today was such a nice day. I worked 3 hours, then chilled for what seems to be the last hours on my computer (it won't startup), then I decided to walk to my nephew's birthday. It was 3.6 kilometers and I did it under 40 minutes. The sun was shining and it was 24 (75) degrees!

There I received presents from North America. *fun*fun* 2 skirts, 2 tops, my photobook that was sent to my mom, things I ordered and an adorable pacifier & holder.

The scale has recently been good to be and this morning it said I actually have lost a big of weight putting me at gaining 13 pounds so far.

We are 75% of the way there and thankfully still trouble free! I had my first (hopefully only!!!) leg cramp on Saturday, which was quite painful and my leg hurt until yesterday still from it, but besides that I can say pregnancy has been good to be!

Newest Model

I found this outfit on sale yesterday and decided to take it, because I have not bought any boy clothes for specifically our potential son. I have bought a few boy things, but was thinking of them more as gifts. I don't know why, but I think this is ADORABLE! It's kind of simple, but I really like the colors and the hood and SUPER soft.

I just had a horrible thought. What if I think it looks better on the monkey than a baby?!?! :P

Dreams!

I always am a major dreamer, but it's even worse since being pregnant! The things and people that come up shock me. And the stories that are created are SO realistic, but with an unrealistic twist! I often get people/places from the 2 continents mixed up and am so disappointed to wake up and find that I'm not there or my family and friends aren't here. Here is a bit of an explaination according to babycenter.com... Why are my dreams more vivid and memorable now? Dreams are like funhouse mirrors that reflect your emotional state. And since pregnancy can feel like an emotional roller coaster, it's not surprising if your dreams are more vivid and crazy than usual. A boost in the hormone progesterone during pregnancy could be a factor in creating those emotional ups and downs If you're remembering more dreams than usual, you can chalk that up to pregnancy too. Most people remember only an occasional dream, even though we all dream every night. But pregnant women are typically up and down all night, prodded by bladder pressure, anxiety, and other pregnancy sleep disturbances. The more often your sleep is interrupted, the more likely you are to wake up during with a dream fresh in your mind.
