Letters To Our Children // September // Mateo

Today was the first day of school. In Belgium they go to school from September 1st until June 30th.  I was pretty excited about school! Mateo seemed to have forgotten a bit about it. We left the 2nd week of June on vacation, so he had a long summer.

Daddy came to school with us today, which was special for Mateo. The school is celebrating 50 years, so they had a party-theme going on. Each child had their photo in front of an old timer. Curious to see them!

Liora seemed to sense the excitement. I decided to dress her up also for some photos. She loved seeing all the kids. I'm sure she wishes she could go. Next September...

Mateo is starting 2de kleuterklas or 2nd kindergarten.  For those who don't know, here they start school at 2.5 in a preschool class, then age 3, 4, & 5 are kindergarten.
